Hi Michiel
The examples provided in the colourmap directory are fine but what will be the step by step process to include a colourmap in a scene ?
Child layers of the colourmap layer are not rendered to the screen, but instead to a texture.
To make it visible you need a layer that uses this texture.
Here's an example:
1) Click on the NEW SHOW button
2) choose LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD COLOURMAP layer
3) click on the ADD CAMERA LAYER... button, choose the PERSPECTIVE VIEW preset and say YES to attach the layer to the colourmap layer
4) click in the ADD LIGHT LAYER button and again say YES to attach the layer to the colourmap layer
5) click on the ADD TEXT LAYER button and again say YES to attach the layer to the colourmap layer
6) click on the ADD PICTURE LAYER... button, select a random picture, and this time say NO to not attach the picture layer to the colourmap layer
7) click on the CHANGE TEXTURE... button, click on the SELECT COLOURMAP LAYER button, click OK
In this screenshot you can see that layer 4 (the picture layer) is using the texture created by layer 5 (the colourmap layer).
