Hello BT Community,

I don't have a lot of time to use BT to create my own templates so I tend to use the BixPacks. Often I am very curious as to how an item or layer has been created. For example, in BixPack 15, the first five templates are all called 'Speaker System' and are different in colour and also the camera angles and actions. There are some 'metal tubing' structures that look like ladders (Template 5, layer 73) which have been created from a series of full stops (periods for my American friends). In order to try and see exactly how these metal frames were created from text, I have been using the camera angles which can be tedious and you have to reset them. I was wondering if there was an easier way, for example, a zoom function for a particular layer which would be a non destruction method?

Thanks in advance

Mark

tip 1: CTRL-SHIFT to render only one layer
tip 2: copy the first key and paste it direct after the first but before the second. now you can zoom rotate the hell out of that layer and when you are done just delete this keyframe.
tip 3: save show with different name 001 e.g. experiment in this copy
tip 4: do what ever you want to this show, just don't save it.

Thanks Komies.
I didn't mean camera angles, I have been changing the positions of the text using the sliders etc. to bring it closer so I can see how a 'ladder' is made from a series of full stops.
I never thought to copy the layer and save that show with a different name.

Thanks for your help.
