Hi.

Sometimes, I don't have internet connection when travelling or only a very slow one. Is it possible to save the slideshow tool on the PC as http address with offline functionality?

This would be great.
This wouldn't need a new program.
Simply using this web tool offline.
Can this be done?

The slideshow tool is a web app and for this reason requires an internet connection.

We have no plans to release a desktop app version.

Isn't it possible to save the web app on a computer for offline use?
If not – could this be enabled? Then, you wouldn't need to create an extra desktop app version.

Or is this technically impossible?

Unfortunately it does not work this way. A web app is a totally different beast than a desktop app.

If it is not too much work it would be nice if you could create this tool as an offline app. Some other users and me have a separate PC for work which must not be connected to the internet. That's the problem I have.

Is it much work compiling a web app into a desktop app?
I don't know the technology behind, so please excuse my question. :)

What speaks against it? Is it much work? I think it would be great if we could use the Slideshow Tool offline as the other BT products, too.
As an other scenario: You are somewhere in a train or on holidays or in place where you have no internet connection. But you want to work on your projects. Just thoughts …
