What I want to do is have blue text on a black background fly on the screen. I was able to easily do that with Bluff Titler. It's the effects that I cannot figure out.

When the text fly's on the screen, I would like it to have a small motion blur and then kind of stretch out a little, almost like a small bounce, and then back to normal positioning.

Is all of this possible? If so, how would I do it?

For example, I tried the "blur" effect but it does not blur the text at all, it just turned it into a woodgrain color.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried applying the blur effect to the camera layer instead of the text layer?

When you apply a filter effect to the camera layer it is used as a post-processing effect to the whole render window.

Use the FX BLUR FACTOR property to animate or finetune the effect.

When you press the CHANGE TEXTURE... button you can change the picture. I think your question is the same as this one:
