Hi Michiel,

can the ReflectiveFloor_(...).fx files can be fixed?

The clip.fx has a property, called "FX Clip Plane Smooth".
Could this function also be added to the ReflectiveFloor_(...).fx files?

This would be great, because currently, the gradients look broken if the background image is not "black".

(the symbols in the middle have a broken reflection).

Why don't you upload a simple show that demonstrates the issue. This makes is so much easier to understand what you are trying to do!

Michiel, the link below my article should redirect you to the example show … (LINK again: outerspace-software.com...)
As you can see in the show, but also in the preview picture on top of the page the reflection of the symbols (the characters of the "RichStyle" font) is broken.

Take a closer look on the reflection below the YouTube logo in my show and you will see that the reflection doesn't fade out. There is a break in there and in my opinion it looks strange, because I have never seen a reflection which ends somewhere suddenly in the middle.

Maybe the picture layer that renders the floor isn't set to 3D IN BACKGROUND (2nd dropdown below the textbox)

Yes, this was my problem. I forgot that the texture is too close to the title which results in the freaky display of the title with a broken gradient.

Works fine now.
