NextPreviousHomeShine in an EPS layer

Well, I have an eps layer, or a traced picture layer.

It has its own texture, and I want it to shine, like if were polished, I've used sparkling particles but its not exactly the effect I'm looking for.

Using FX effects makes it to lose the texture, and I want to preserve it.

Any ideas?

I think you are looking for an effect that combines colour mapping with reflection mapping.

Try ColourMap_ReflectionMap.fx in the Multitexture folder.

When you press F9 after selecting this effect you can see that the 1st texture is used as the colour map and the 2nd as the reflection map.

OK Michiel, thank you for your help, but still don't see how I can handle this effect, when I move the FX lighting factor, or reflection factor, the texture changes.
What do you suggest?

Well, it would have been a problem if nothing would change :)

The idea is to play around with the properties until you see something you like. I love playing with the 3 sliders of the FX REFLECTION ROTATION property.
