In this effect, how can I get instead a plane a curved line ?

What I'm trying to do, is a text that changes its color partially starting from the bottom, goes up (in other color) and stops, let's say at the middle, but the border line between the two colors should be curved (an arc of a circunference) and the rest of the arc or circunference out of the text should be invisible.
This works right with clip.fx, but the border line is straight.

Have you tried using a texture?
You can animate its position with the TEXTURE POSITION property.

Yes, it's the best solution, if the text is white, otherwise you have to make a texture with the desired colors.
