Dear community,
here is an updated list that includes some wishes or ideas that might be fulfilled in upcoming BluffTitler versions:
► Music visualization: ALMOST DONE: Thanks, Michiel! :).
► Transformation: youtube.com... DONE WITH PARTICLE EFFECTS.
► Free window zoom without changing resolution or ratio (click + drag).
► Camera tracking: Import tracking data from external tracking software as: digilab.uni-hannover.de...
► Customizable physics: www31.speedyshare.com...
► Copy properties of a key from one to another layer.
► Convert *.x into *.eps (only 3D models that are shaped like lines/tubes)
→ Blender *.x exports with typewriter property to animate *.x file.
► Counter from 1 to 100.
► Easier version of this software: outerspace-software.com...
► Wave background: youtube.com...
AMAZING TO SEE WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN REALIZED THROUGH THE BLUFFTITLER DEVELOPERS. Respect :).
All the best
JOHN
Thank you for your requests!
Three of your ideas are about 3D sketches. Which shapes would you like to have? Instead of investing months in developing converters and editors that will never be easy to use, it might take us only 5 minutes to write a script that generates the shape you want.

It all looks great! I could use something like a playing card layer - a two-sided image layer. I have made playing cards in different ways, it just seems like there should be something more simple. Even to be able to assign a solid color back...
Thanks!

Eons ago, I animated with DPaint V on an Amiga. I made good use of a set of scripts sold by a 3rd party vendor - a library of moves that could be applied to the program's animated brushes. It was so great to have a folder like Aircraft Moves/Helicopters/Harrier Taking Off, braking on wet pavement, dry pavement, hitting a brick wall... I study BT gallery samples, and file away favorites, but I still struggle figuring out convincing movements. Stock motions? It'd be sort of a step down from BixPacks, if you will.
Keep up the great work!

What about being able to copy a layer from one show to another? That would be useful

Bald Runner, you can use CONTROL M for this. After merging, delete the layers you are not interested in.

@ all: Thank you for your comments!
@ Michiel: Thanks. At the moment I don't need a special script – I was more thinking about a way to import paths from 3D software such as Blender: wiki.blender.org...
Or importing a simple tube shaped *.x file from Blender into BluffTitler that can be animated with the writer properies. These paths can be easily created in Blender. Supporting them as *.x in BluffTitler would be great.
Then, there wouldn't be any need to program any complicated software :).
Best regards
John

Hi,
Re: Bald Runner, depending on how complex the project, Control-M-ing + Delete, versus Copy Layer to New Project... the latter would be a considerable time-savings for me. I'm doing lots of product walls and little things like this add up.
When I load a large project with textures missing or textures that I just don't want to load, I wish I had an option to Load All Anyway, as opposed to clicking through on the next 79 prompts.
2 cents - ciao,

John, could you e-mail a collection of Blender path files to info@outerspace-software.com?
Thanks!
