NextPreviousHomeQuestion concerning turbulent particles effect

Hello,

I am looking for turbulent particles in BluffTitler as shown here: videocopilot.net....

Particle animations are still good in BluffTitler but I am looking for an option that makes the particles turbulent or rotating through the area very irregular that it looks more fuzzy.

Even if you have an idea how to create fire sparkles that rotate in the air and that look like they have been blowing away by wind it is also good.

Thank you in advance!!!

A better explanation what I mean is here: blenderdiplom.com...

Hint: I don't need real physics as Blender does. It could be also or real. For my purposes this doesn't matter.

I simply like the effect!

Simple trick to make the particles fuzzy is to use a flare that is not in the centre of the picture, take a look at Particle_OffCentre.png that comes with the installer.

When you set the 3rd slider of the ROTATION SPEED property to a non-zero value the particles buzz around in a very chaotic, turbulent way.

Hi Michiel, good idea!

Is it with this trick also possible to get something like this: youtu.be...

Thanks

I've found the effect I wanted to show you. I've got an iPhone App that creates Intros that look cool, too. But they are template-based.

THIS IS THE EFFECT I AM LOOKING FOR: youtu.be...

Any ideas how to create particles that look like in tie video??

To recreate this effect I think I would attach the particles to a picture or sketch layer.

I've done it as you explained. I duplicated the particle layer a few times and now it looks almost as good as the video I've shown you.

Thanks!
