Hi Michiel, I have a feature request.

Could you add 2 icons to the toolbox window? One for "Hide" and one for "Show"

"Hide" would create 2 keyframes for the active layer about 0.01 apart. The first would set Transparency to ZERO and the second would set Transparency to ONE.

"Show" would create 2 keyframes for the active layer about 0.01 apart. The first would set Transparency to ONE and the second would set Transparency to ZERO.

That way we would have an easy way to turn layers on and off.

I know we can do this manually, but when you're working with a lot of layers, and editing the transition points while finalising the show, it would save a LOT of time if there were icons like that.

Actually, having the "Visible" setting available in the sliders instead as the checkbox would be an even better solution.

This will break all exisiting shows.

Instead of setting the TRANSPARENCY property to 0 I always move the layer to an invisible position, for example behind the camera. Visually it does the same, but I expect this to render a lot faster.

To protect the simplicity of the GUI I think it would be better to implement this as keyboard shortcuts. Maybe as a more general macro system.

Render time in BluffTitler is so fast compared to other products (such as After Effects) that I never even consider any need to optimise render times, but I understand your point.

Your position methodology still requires 2 keys for making things visible - just the same as the transparency methodology.
