There seems to be a delay on the first character displayed by the writer property. It displays for twice the length of time of the other characters.
You can confirm this by creating an eleven second show that just displays the text BluffTitler using the Writer property.
The first B will display for 2 seconds and all the other characters will display after one second delays.
Is this initial character delay intentional?
Well spotted. I have never noticed this. Maybe because it's only noticeable when animating a short text very slowly. If you want you can correct this by not starting the WRITER property from 0.

I had never noticed it before either.
As you say, it's mainly noticeable on short texts. Unfortunately, I have quite a few shows that are going to require the writer property on short texts.
I've just tried playing around with the second slider, but cannot find a setting that will provide a suitable solution.
