What is the easiest/quickest way to create a result like this please?

dl.dropbox.com...

It just has an independent FACE colour, SIDE colour and BACKGROUND colour. The sort of effect that can be produced in seconds in an image editor, but I'm having great difficulty doing it with BT.

I would make a blue text with a very small red border.

You can add a border to a text by pressing the ATTACH BORDER TO ACTIVE LAYER button and selecting the RED BORDER preset.

You can make the border smaller by setting the 1st slider of the BEVEL property to a smaller value.

You can change the colours of the text layers with their COLOUR properties.

Thanks. The key point I'd missed was setting the bevel size to zero. But Point Light and Rotation also needed careful setup.

BTW, why is the Link option in this message composition window not available for the initial post?

All the way down to zero? Amazing, I didn't realize that was possible!!! You see how easy it is to discover a new effect.

Great trick!

Paste your URL ending on JPG in the LINK field and your picture is embedded.

The LINK field was only available when posting an article, but since today it's also available when posting a question:
