NextPreviousHomeCloth effect: how to change position?

I'm trying to adapt the clever show at
\shows\picture effects\Cloth1.bt

I want to move the final position of the texture further to the right. But that changes the 'distortion'. How do I avoid that please? I've been unable to find a Layer>Property that controls this clothe or distortion effect.

I think it's the FLEXIBILITY property you are looking for.

Make sure to add some extra time to the show to give time for the slowest (the most flexible) part of the picture layer to reach its destination:

Thanks, finally succeeded in getting the position changed.

But I'm still hazy about the role of the Flexibility settings. Why are they fixed in Cloth1.bt? Is that typical, with the distortion enabled via the Rotation property of the Text layer?

You can animate the FLEXIBILITY property by unmarking the ALL KEYS checkbox. This however gives unpredicted results so it is not recommended.

Please note the analogy of the FLEXIBILITY property of the picture layer with the same named property in the text layer:

Yes, thanks, but my question is: what causes the distortion? You seem to be saying it's the Flexibility property, but as I said that's not changing. So I was guessing the reason, and you haven't confirmed or contradicted my guess.

When you set the first slider of the FLEXIBILITY property to 0 (of all keys) the distortion is gone.

Another option is to switch from CLOTH to PLANE with the 1st dropdown below the textbox.
