LostBoyz, maitegras and michiel like this!
I know it's a bit early for me to be asking for new effects on my second post, when I haven't even got the basics under my belt! But one of my reasons for buying BT Pro was that I hope it will remove the occasional need to use one of my old applications to make a certain type of title that I'm fond of. Here's an example:
youtu.be...
I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 for making family DVDs. Although it's an excellent NLE, it's not easy to make the above effect. So I return to a very old app I used called MemoriesOnTV, which makes it a bit easier to do. Of course, the anagrams have to be found first!
P.S. Should I be able to format that URL as a proper link please?

I don't think this facility was offered in my original post?
So I'll include that same YT link below.

Are you trying to replicate the text flying in letter by letter? That can be done with Bluff.

Thanks Jim. Yes, that's the basic effect. With a random appearance as in my example.
I can do it in both MEP17 and MoTV using key frames, but of course it's pretty laborious. I'm hoping there are some clever techniques I can use in BT to speed up the work.
Or, even better, perhaps someone has already done something similar that I can use as a basis.
But, for now, I reckon I'll focus on learning the fundamental stuff!

I pretty sure I've seen an example of this effect in the gallery somewhere. I thought the Writer command would do it but that just pops the letters in, not fly them in. I'm sure Michiel could post an example if indeed I'm correct and Bluff is able to do this in a simple way where you're not adding each letter individually...that would be a pain.

I think you migh be able to achieve it with a combination of the JUMBLE and FLEXIBILITY properties.
While you are waiting for Michiel to answer with the correct way to achieve this, maybe this article will help you get started.

Excellent, thanks, looks very promising! I'll download that example as soon as I get onto my PC.

IBMedia has the right idea. I posted a modified version of the sample show for you.
