I have produced a little Video in MPEG Format with an Alpha Channel, i.E. the Background is transparent. When I load this Video in BT, it has a greyish background. When I load a single Image from this Video, there is no background. What can I do to get rid of this greyish background?
Wolfgang
I didn't know MPEG supports transparency. Which version of MPEG are you using? Which software do you use to create transparent MPEG files? And can we download an example?
BluffTitler fully supports 32 bits transparent AVI files, so for now maybe it helps to convert your MPEG file into an AVI file.

The Software I used is the open source Blender 2.59. There in the rendering panel You can choose different formats and also rendering in RGBA. Following Your hint I did not pusue MPEG and have now rendered AVI Codec with RGBA, but Blufftitler did not accept this in the way I expected.
The video produced by me consists of a lot of *.png- images.
I would strongly appreciate if You could experiment with Blender and find out how to brig a transparent video into BBlufftitler. Is there any chance to "colorkey" the background of my video?
Thanks in advance

What do you mean with "Blufftitler did not accept this the way I expected"?
What is going wrong?

The grey background still is there!

To check if your video has an alpha channel:
-choose HELP > TECHNICAL INFO
-select the TEXTURES tab
-the format for the video should say: RGBA
This means: Red, Green, Blue, Alpha

This was a very good information! I found RGB! So I have to look at my render settings in Blender. Thanks
