Now, Sony MovieStudio 11 and Sony Vegas Pro 10 has a new
New video plug-in SDK. Can I request a review on the possiblity of working on the plug-in?
I have vegas pro V10 and I don't know what this feature is that you are talking about. Can you explain further where is this SDK and what does it do?

Jim,
In vegas 10 pro, Sony have introduced support for the OFX effects interface. it is an open standard for video effects, and any host which supports it should theoretically be able to support any OFX-compliant effects (although there is normally some work required by the developers). It should open up Sony to a lot more effects toolsets - and I would suspect this is what the original poster is referring to. Have a look at: openeffects.org for more information. An example of such an advance is the BCC continuum effect set from Boris..
I hope this helps.

I am also a user of vegas pro (version 9). Any ideas on how a plug in with BT could improve workflow?

I too would love to see BT as a plug-in to vegas. The 3D text facility alone would be worth it. However, it would be great if Michel could comment, but I do not see how the Vegas/OFX architecture would fit in with BT. BT is incredibly fast at rendering, has an amazing effects engine but from what I can see does not fit into the Vegas way of doing add-ons. For me, I create my AVIs in BT and then import them into BT, and I am really happy with the result.

Vegas is missing in this department, so this would be a great addition to Bluff. Since, Red Giant has dropped support for Vegas, Bluff could fill in this vacant hole.
