Hello Bluff Community.
I am trying to bring a serene static photo to life in Blufftitler and it has a stream running through the image, but I cannot figure out how to add effects that will make the stream come to life and look a little like flowing water. The water layer just creates a plane of water, so this does't work.

Does anybody know how to do this?

Here's a trick that works with a horizontal coastline:

Thanks Michiel,
But I was really wanting to animate the stream in the above static image. Anyway I have come up with something that works for me.

I created a flat PNG file of the stream; imported as a picture and added AlienBrainBumpmap_Additive.cfx.

Hope this helps others.

That works magically well. It really suits the style of the picture. GREAT trick!

What you've done with the particles is equally brilliant 👏👏👏

Really well done, I ddin't even know you could animate water in BT beside using water layers. Bravo
