songbaojin and michiel like this!
Hello Michiel and community,
Sorry for the title of the article which might seem a bit odd, it is however self-explanatory with the posted picture.
I would like to know if using a sketch to guide the trajectory (a line or a curve, I can do the curve with Bixangelo) of a video layer is the right way to give the illusion the woman (who is a video layer, the 'click here' button in the image rotates) is shooted into the galaxy by the launch ramp.
Making the sketch, position the line or the curve so it follows the launch ramp and goes to the horizon, attaching the video layer of the woman to the sketch and make her move with the Writer slide bar of the sketch.
Are there better ideas ? Just using x,y,z coordonates of the Position from the video layer and manually tweaking the size so it seems accurate (usually that doesn't work, it never looks really good) ?
Problem solved in 30 minutes ! I read again what Michiel told me, and there is aboslutely no need to use a sketch as a trajectory guidance tool, manually works perfectly and by setting the 4 video layers to "Accelerate slow" the illusion of rocketting towards the horizon is neatless. I made a mask so that they seem to pop out from the bottom of the launching ramp, pop up vertically and then glide along it towards the galaxy, it looks really cool. I will post the video clip once I am done. Blufftitler is so cool...
I have the bad habbit to think of complicated things first, when they are obvious and easy solutions...
Great week to Michiel and you guys :)
