@Michiel: apparently the glow effect doesn't work in multicam. Check if it is normal.

well done

Fantastique!

Unbelievable, that this amazing video was made with a titling software. 😉 It's a masterpiece and has the optics of a AAA console class video game! 🎮

Very impressive!

You are clearly pushing the limits of a video titling app. That's good and the video looks great! But by doing this you are also exposing its limits, like performance and usability.

The car is rendered with 10 model layers, all using their own value of the ANIMATION prop. This makes rendering slow. Setting this prop to the same value speeds up rendering (because this makes optimization possible). Even better would be to prepare the car in a modelling app and render the car with a single model layer. This gives the best performance. Plus it makes the show easier to understand.

The 500+ trees is also a bottleneck. With so many trees it makes sense optimizing the model, for example by using 1 submodel instead of 2. Or by using less detailed models for trees further away from the track.

The sketch layer the car is attached to has lots of keys, animating the WRITER prop. I think it works better using only 2 keyframes: WRITER (0, 0) at the start and WRITER (1, 0) at the end. By setting the SMOOTH prop to about 20 you can smooth the path, simulating inertia. This makes the car driving at constant speed, but makes the show easier to understand.

The layers rendering the floor (grass, tracks) never cast shadows. So you can mark the NEVER CAST SHADOWS checkbox in the LAYER > ACTIVE LAYER PROPERTIES... dialog. This speeds up rendering and improves the quality of the shadows.

Adding fog (with the fog props of the camera layer) adds depth. It also speeds up rendering because you no longer need a plasma background and many layers do not have to be rendered because they disappear in the fog.

Thanks again for pushing the limits of our video titling app. We'll try to make more complex shows like this perform better and easier to create.

This looks gorgeous, but a lot of work!
And thanks a lot for sharing!

Thank you all for your compliments, and especially to Michiel for taking the time to respond precisely point by point to possible improvements. I will study all this in detail and mainly the study of the car with an animation adapted to the trajectory.
Good continuation to all.
