Colour fonts, just like emoji ignore the 3rd layer style: they always use the FLAT style.
Many of the text layer styles do not make sense for colour fonts. To keep it simple, they now always use the FLAT style. We'll re-evaluate this rule and see which styles can be useful for colour fonts. Thank you for your request!
