Michiel, I'm doing a project and blufftitler does not allow me to load MP4 video, I already installed the K-lite codecs and this window comes out Media error, I've always used the MP4 videos in Blufftitler with windows 7, now that I have to do to solve it.
That's strange.
Maybe it helps forcing BluffTitler to use the LAV decoders in the DRIVERS tab of the SETTINGS > OPTIONS... dialog. The user guide has a screenshot:

I have the same problem as Jesus. My old show on BluffTitler version 12 (Windows7) with a video layer "video. MP4 ", worked very well.
The same show with BluffTitler 13.6 (Windows 10, 64-bit) does not accept the "video. MP4 " and displays the same message as Jesus (see attached image). I did test changing "Graphics adapter" and "MP4 encoding profile" and "Decoder filter", but still the same error message.
Note- "video. MP4 " works very well on another media player installed on the PC.
Have you any advice? Thank you

Your graphics adapter is not used to decode your videos. So this setting is irrelevant.
The MP4 encoding profile is only used for *exporting* your show to MP4, so this is also not used for playing MP4 files.
Only the DirectShow box in this dialog is used to play your videos. Your screenshot looks good. This is strange because so far nobody has ever reported the LAV video decoder filter to have problems with an MP4 file.
Are you sure you have refreshed your show (press F5) or else restarted BluffTitler after connecting the MP4 file extension to the LAV video decoder filter?

In the TEXTURES tab of the CONTROL F1 dialog you can see which codecs are used to play your video. This can be used to check if the LAV Audio Decoder and LAV Video Decoder are used.
Other codecs can be used, but those are my personal favorites. Both come with the K-Lite Codec Pack:

Resolved : Thanks for your advice, I installed K-Lite Codec Pack, during the installation, "LAV Audio and video Decoder" displayed. I restarted the PC and the video is now accepted, although options BluffTitler is unchanged the problem is resolved.
Thank you for your help.

Maybe jeablu's trick to restart your PC after installing the K-Lite Codec Pack helps.
