How do you reopen an AVI file saved to desktop?
sorry i did not give enough specifics. I want to save a show and then reopen it and be able to edit and change it. Can an AVI be reopened and edited, or changed.
Thanks
Whiz
To view I use VLC Player and I can open an AVI file from the desktop. I also use Pinnacle Studio and it will import from the desktop with no issues.
I never save files to my desktop as they only eat up the available space on my C drive. I only store the OS and software that I use a lot on the C drive. Everything else is kept on my other drives. I have 32Tb of storage capability so files aren't much of an issue.
Hope I have helped some what....Sarge

Choose LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD VIDEO LAYER... to open an AVI file in BluffTitler.

Ok, I'm getting the idea of where you are heading.... I think! LOL
As michiel says you can pull in the AVI as another layer in BT. But, you will not be able to manipulate it as you would a show. You can't add layers or change any features as in the original BT Show.
I always use AVI's as the picture on a TV screen and such in my BT shows.
