Nice, Dani ☕

Do you know that version 13.4 can render emoji chars?

Select the Segoe UI Emoji font and paste the coffee cup in the textbox: ☕

The font has 2 versions: a vector and a bitmap version. Unfortunately they do not mix well together. As you can see, the brown coffee is rendered as an outline in the vector version so it disappears in the mixed version.

Maybe we can add an option to render the bitmap version in a next version.

But what we really need is a 3rd version: a 3D model version ?

Agree with Dani, i would like a demo show, i have some dificulties to reproduce your emoji process with windows7.
2) What do you call vector and bitmap "combined". thank you.

Here's how to use emoji characters:
-choose MEDIA > CHANGE FONT... and select the "Segoe UI Emoji" font. This font comes with Windows, so you do not have to install it.
-copy paste an emoji character from a site like en.wikipedia.org... For example: ? or ? or ?

I'm not sure if Windows 7 supports emoji:

Microsoft Windows

An update for the Segoe UI Symbol font in Windows 7 and in Windows Server 2008 R2 brought a subset of the monochrome Unicode set to those operating systems. The font update rebranded the font as Segoe UI Symbol. The difference between the two fonts is that Segoe UI lacks any and all emoji characters, while Segoe UI Symbol and Segoe UI Emoji include them.

Windows 8 and higher supports the full Unicode emoji characters through Microsoft's Segoe UI family of fonts. Emoji characters are accessed through the onscreen keyboard's "smiley" key. howtogeek.com...

As of Windows 8.1 Preview, Segoe UI Emoji font supplies full-color pictographs. Differently from macOS & iOS, color glyphs are only supplied when the application supports Microsoft's DirectWrite API, and Segoe UI Emoji is explicitly declared, otherwise monochrome glyphs appear. Segoe UI Emoji and its full-color emoji set is not fully supported by all programs written for Windows; for example, among Web browsers, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome can use the font, but Firefox can also use the full-color set.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update added Unicode 9 emoji

I had used "Filled holes" and the "UV Mapper_text" to mapping the bitmap to the character.
