NextPreviousHomeImporting a PNG the correct size and position.

Although I have a workaround in my editing software, I'm sure this was never a problem.
A graphic designer designs a Theatre show poster and supplies me the layered psd. In p/s, I delete what I do not need and then rest I drag into a 1920x1080 transparent background. In p/s, I layer comp the layers to do simple animation etc.
I import the rasterised text layer (1920x1080 transparent png). into a Bluff HD project and add a particle layer ie sparkles etc.
My problem is two fold, In Bluff 13.3
1 It's not the right size or in the right position
2 I cant see any handles (boundaries) of my 1920x1080 png
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
David

EDIT
Setting to Fullscreen in Background or Foreground prevents attach particles from working (one particle in the centre)
The size of the "object" within the imported png affects the amount of size increase needed to be added in Bluff.
I just want to import a png THE RIGHT SIZE and centred in THE RIGHT POSITION.

BluffTitler is a 3D app. Everything is positioned in 3D world coordinates, which is something else than 2D coordinates paint apps use.

The size of your picture depends on many things, including:
-its distance to the camera (as set with the POSITION property of the picture layer and the POSITION property of the camera layer)
-its size (as set with the SIZE property of the picture layer)
-the field of view of the camera (as set with the FIELD OF VIEW property of the camera layer)

Does this answer your question?

Thank You for your reply. I thought it was possible to bring a graphic in at the default size and position but from your answer that is not the case. Maybe I am getting confused with a plugin titler I use.
The good news (I hope) is I made a test frame and you pointing me towards setting the camera FoV, setting this to 28.1 the layers modified in Bluff align correctly when exported and are back in the editing package.

When you say "default size and position", do you mean full screen?

With the default camera position and fov, setting the position of the picture layer to (0,0,215) makes it full screen. I think that's better than adjusting the fov.

Yes that's it. So simple. Sanity restored. I knew I never used to touch the camera layer. Is it possible that in earlier versions that default was at 215 not 500?

All I am doing is making a "flat" graphic (albeit supplied in layers) have some life injected into it. Hardly creative but visually effective. In my "toolbox" Bluff is very useful and does things that my other tools simply don't do.

Thank you for your continued support.
