NextPreviousHomeSketchup 2017 and container size

Hi Guys

I have 2 questions. First one, anybody know how to export a model from Sketchup2017 to a .x file? I have found links to 3DRad which the site seems to be dead and the one link I did find doesn't work, anybody know of another way?

The 2nd question, I'm not sure if this can be done. I am trying to create some videos for a video mapping project. I need to create containers with precise pixels but can not work out the relationship of the size scaling. Eg I have a show size of 1024x768, I need to create a container that is 1024x128 and then put content in that, and then place this container in the top left hand corner so the content will run within that container and will be 128 high

Thanks in advance.

Selina you sir are a star !!!

That’s exactly what I am trying to do. I have just had to upgrade to V13 (not an issue) to get this to work.
However, I don’t get, and never have what Bufftitle uses for units of measurements, I need to understand this so I can make my layers fit pixel perfect for this to work.

In the example you did I get there is a picture and you select the colourmap layer for that picture, but how do the sizes of both relate to each other.

The colourmap is resolution at 4096 and 512, which I can see is 4 times the size of what I am trying to end up with (1024x128) I tried setting these to 1024,128 and it seems to work correctly, but I understand will be a lower resolution, so I get this.

What I don't get is, for the 1st picture layer to have horizontal @ 0.5, vertical @ 625.5 and depth @ 1299.5, how to these relate to the position of the picture layer on the 1024x768 show resolution?

As a test I did a new show @ 1024x768 and added an image @ 1024x768, the H and V were set to 0 and the image was in the middle where I would expect it to be.

However it doesn't fill the screen, and this is where I get confused as this could be the camera > position depth, or camera > field of view, or the image layer position > depth, there doesn’t seem to be (or I can't find it) information on what the units of measurements relate to and what is "zero", ie in this test what values and where would I use them to have the image in the middle of the screen at 100% of size an thus fill it

Once again thanks in advance
