Hello Guys & Gals,
I am new to BluffTitler only got it recently and I have a couple questions about setup as i am getting frustrated with.
So for question is how do i get full screen windowed mode so it covers the screen with display window on top and control window below?
What happens is the display window where you can see the project is covering about 2/3rds of the windows screen and then the control bar covers the bottom of the display window. So part of the display window is always covered no matter where I put the control window & the display window.
I want the screens to be like email program look like email program so the total of screen is covered by the display window down to the bottom23 and then below that is the control window. But i cant seen to get it to do that and have been trying but dont know how, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I only purchased BluffTitler for fun just to mess around so I have another question.
Are the BIxpacks worth buying if I only use for fun or whould it be better to try and make my own?
Thanks in advance

Hello Selina,
Thanks for the fast reply to my post, I appreciate it.
As for resizing it does not work the window keeps snapping back as soon as I release the mouse button.
As for the f11 and f12, thanks for the info it will come in handy.
As for aspect of screen I use 1920x1080 but I still cant resize the display window to cover most of the screen. I will add if i set BluffTitler to full screen it it does show full screen, but the windowed mode I can not resize by click dragging it.
Do you have another suggestion on how to resize it?
EDIT:
Ok It seem the display window only has 2 sizes beside a true full screen which is 64% & 87% an true full screen. The window is also constrained where I cant drag window size down or up and the diagonal drag only lets me drag to 64% or 87%.
Hope that makes sense if not i will try to make a video or picture if needed as sometimes I suck at explaining (Well most times, lol.)
Thanks again for the help.

Try to keep the same aspect ratio: resize the preview window horizontally *AND* vertically.
If you only resize 1 dimension it will snap back to the original size.
So grab the preview window at one of its corners and move your mouse diagonally.

Hello Michiel & Selina,
Thanks for the help and info.
I am a little frustrated as I should have tried software first.
I like working in windowed mode with the ability to work in sections and I hate full screen mode for working.
It also bugs me that the display cant shrink down all things like with photos in other programs to see all of it but in a smaller window just for working.
Anyways thanks for your help.

Drauka, I am puzzled by your comment. Do you mean that you still can't resize the preview window?
The display CAN shrink down all things. All you have to do is to resize the preview window with your mouse. It would be pretty silly if this was not possible.

Hello Michiel & Selina,
Ok First I thought it did not work as text keep going of screen I did not know that it could so I thought window resizing did not work. But now I understand stuff can be off screen. I am new to this program so I am trying to learn.
The main thing I want is to set a layout of the program on my desktop.
I have made a picture to show what I am trying to do, it is a very basic picture.
I dont like the constraint on having to drag diagonally.
I guess the window keeps snapping back as i am trying to do this layout and its no allowed.
Anyway thanks again for all your help I do greatly appreciate it.
As I said I purchased this program simply for fun. I am disabled on have not worked in many years for health reasons so I like to play with software.
Guess my meds still jumble my thoughts and get frustrated quickly.
Thanks

Aha, I see!
To do that perform the following steps:
1 ) choose FILE > SET SHOW RESOLUTION...
2) change the width in pixels to 850
3) change the height in pixels to 320
4) click OK
5) resize the preview window with your mouse until it fills the screen

Realize that this is an uncommon resolution and aspect ratio. It will produce black bars when played full screen on most monitors/TVs. And I expect some encoders to refuse to encode in this resolution.
I advise you to follow the standards. Nowadays this is an aspect ratio of 16:9 in HD or UHD (4K). The FILE > SET SHOW RESOLUTION dialog has presets for this.
