snafu and MrGruntHunter like this!
I'm new to bt, starting to figure it out! ( love the program). I'm trying to find the easiest way to recreate the sparkles on a texture layer. Attached is the link with what I'm trying to achieve Thanks in advance. youtu.be...

To attach particles to the active layer choose LAYER > ATTACH LAYER > ATTACH PARTICLES TO ACTIVE LAYER....
The Sparkles1 preset looks a bit like the sparkles in your video!

Yes Michiel, you are right, but you can't manage the particles in the way shown in the show.

You could attach the particles to a sketch layer.
Animate the sketch layer with the WRITER property and make the sketch layer invisible by applying the Invisible effect.
Take a look at the Sketch\Sketch_GoldenGlow show that comes with the installer.

Michiel,
Thanks for the info, I can attach the particle layer to the picture, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the particles to flare out like in the Sketch_golden show and to flow in one direction ( behind the movement). I know ( I think) I can move the particles around the picture with keyframing. STUCK :)
Thanks RonO

Use the GRAVITY property of the particle layer to make the particles fly in one direction. For example set this prop to (100,0,0) to make them fly to the right or (0,100,0) upwards.
