It looks like all my text layers all animate behind the other layers.
I want text layers to animate in the foreground. The Alt+] trick doesn't do the job. Any siggestions??
Thanx!
Alt + ] doesn't change the depth of your text it just places the active layer to a different spot to get more overview.
To change the depth of a text you will have to use the position 3rd slider (Z-Axis) in the properties list box.

That's not what I mean.
The text is in a layer behind a graphic, the text has to be on top of the layer of the graphic.
Graphic
Text
Background
has to be
Text
Graphic
Background
*Up-date* - I found a by-pass... I added a scroller layer. Scroll speed set to 0 and Not filled at the options. And Bob's your uncle... Text in the foreground...

Picture layer style 2
Fullscreen
In this mode the picture is rendered fullscreen in the background.
Skybox
In this mode the picture is always rendered at the camera position. Use it in combination with the Cube or Sphere mode.
3D in background
In this mode the picture is always rendered in the background.
3D in 3D space
In this mode the picture can intersect other layers.
3D in foreground
In this mode the picture is drawn in front of all other layers.
2D in foreground
In this mode the camera position and rotation is ignored. This is useful if you want to keep a logo fixed on screen when animating the camera.
Or else adjust Z-bias setting to -300

BluffTitler is a 3D app: objects that are further away to the camera are behind objects that are closer.
What you are trying to do is to render the moon in front of your house.
Only proper way to do that is to shrink the moon to the size of a football with the (FONT) SIZE property and move it in front of your house with the (TEXT) POSITION property.
The 3rd slider of the POSITION prop does NOT control the distance to the camera. Instead it controls the Z position. And the Z position is only the distance to the camera if the camera is looking along that axis. For example when you change the ROTATION prop of the camera layer to (90,0,0) you need the 1st slider to change the distance to the camera.
Realize that this is not BluffTitler specific, it works this way in all 3D apps.
The 3D IN BACKGROUND style of the picture and scroller layers is a trick that should only be used if absolutely necessary. The problem with this trick is that it creates an impossible 3D world that will get you in trouble when moving the camera, adding mirrors, reflections and using possible future features like physics and collision detection. Always try to keep your world a valid 3D world.
Oh, and the LAYER > BRING ACTIVE LAYER FORWARD Alt+] option only makes sense when you have 2 or more layers using the 3D IN BACKGROUND trick.
