I am having problems when exporting a show as a video, in the option, uncompressed AVI with transparency.

The codecs are right, and don't know what's going on, I've installed Directx11, but the problem continues.

Any Idea?

It's impossible not to have DirectX 11 installed: it comes with Windows 7 and higher and on Vista it comes with Windows update.

No codec is used when using uncompressed.

So I think something else is going on. Not all video players and video editors can handle transparent videos. I advise you to export without transparency.

Maybe you have black plasma. Or put alpha effect on camera layer to check alpha channel.

Well, Thank you for your answers.

The fact is that I've never experienced this problem in previous versions of Blufftitler, and I'd like to know if anybody has observe this erratic performance.

What I'm trying to do is export a show (res. 1920, 1080) as an uncompressed AVI with transparency, and in the new version of Blufftitler it seems not working.

Which template are you using?

I exported your show with transparency info and experienced no problems.

I tested the generated video by loading it back in BluffTitler by creating a video layer and placing it on top of a plasma layer.

Some NLEs require special tricks to import transparent videos. Here's how to do it in Sony Vegas:

So it means that the problem comes from my system itself!

How can I test it?, Could it be the video card?

You can test the transparency of your video (its alpha channel) by loading it back into BluffTitler:
1) create a new show: choose FILE > NEW SHOW
2) delete the text layer: choose LAYER > DELETE ACTIVE LAYER
3) create a new plasma layer and select a colourful preset: choose LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD PLASMA LAYER...
4) create a new video layer and select your transparent video: choose LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD VIDEO LAYER...
5) Hit the PLAY button

The video will no play transparently on top of your plasma background.

Thank you to everyone here.

For some unknown reason, the problem has been corrected alone.

I can't explain it myself!
