I was curious if anyone has used X-Keys with BluffTitler? It would be interesting for live broadcast graphics to be able to send a command to load a specific .bt file and play to a certain keyframe, PAUSE and wait for another command to start playing again. Perfect for animating lower thirds on screen, pausing and animating off screen on command.
Another idea.....
Ability to play keyframes on different levels, for example... All elements, animate on screen, but certain elements pause at a pre-determined frame and wait for command while other keyframes go forward to another keyframe/s and loop back until new command is sent. These looping keyframe object might be spinning globes, or dancing text, rays of light, etc, while all other element keyframes (text, etc) are paused then once the final command is sent all keyframes are played to end of show, animating off screen. I could see maybe containers might be useful here.
Those are my thoughts. Though for now just to be able to send commands using X-keys would be great rather than through a command line interface. If anyone has any experience or ideas how to set this up, I would be grateful to hear.
Inspiring suggestions!
The playlist of version 12 has thumbnails and an option to play only the selected slide (instead of continuing playing the next slide).
This way you can use the playlist as a "videoboard" where you can quickly select and play short video clips.
Maybe this is halfway what you are looking for. If possible I would love to see your lower thirds. I'm sure this will explain better what you need.

Michiel,
The playlist feature in version 12 you mentioned sounds interesting and might help. It would be great to have ability to set certain slides in the sequence to LOOP it's timeline while other slides could be set to PLAY TO END of timeline as well as the option to STOP playing "PAUSE" and command override to ADVANCE to next slide upon the slide reaching the end of the timeline.
For Example... [SLIDE 1 PLAYS TO END and ADVANCES], [SLIDE 2 LOOPS UNTIL ADVANCE COMMAND GIVEN- then plays to end of timeline and advances], [SLIDE 2 PLAYS TO END and STOPS]
If the graphics and keyframes were setup correctly the sequence would match seamlessly between the end of one slide and the beginning of the next together, assuming there would be no hiccups or glitches when they advance.
Furthermore, if there were keyboard shorts to advance through the "videoboard" sequence it would give the touch control for live event use.
I will try to put some examples together to show you what I am attempting to achieve.
