I was just playing around with Blufftitler for a while, which is a great way to discover its features and capabilities!
The scene that I made is entirely build up from text layers, no 3d-models are used.

1) The glowing particle sphere in the background is actually the letter "@". I used the explosion property to make some random 3d-particles. You can add some glowing effects and a plasma layer to make it look shiny and metal.

2) The carrousel is also a textlayer. The model is build up only with the characters | and -. What I did a made a textlayer and typed a string like "|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||" and used the allignment property "circle2" (right below the text edit field).
In this way the characters become 3d boxes placed in a circle.

This is a great way of making some simple 3D models with some nice effects. For more complex 3D models you can also import a 3d model.

Great and tks for the idea Bluff Titler never ceases to amaze me.. As a fairly new comer to it I am overawed at its capabilities

Thanks for a great idea! I have been using BT for a couple of years now....but someone always comes up with something new. Great !!
