Want to extend from :17 long to 3:30 long. Want to add time in the middle, leaving the beginning and end as is. When I press the "Add time" button with the cursor in the middle of the animation where I want the time to be added,, it causes the camera angle to be effected and makes the entire graphic spin around more n more with each click of the add time button. When I drag the cursor, it appears as I want with the added time and it doesn't spin, but when I press the play button, the whole animation spins around, even though it doesn't spin around when I drag the cursor through the time line. Exports the way it plays. What am I doing wrong?
This is version 10 on a Win 7 machine. Just updated DirectX to be sure that wasn't it and web site says I can not upgrade unless I pay for v11.
Which physics/tweening method is the camera layer using?
You can find it in the dropdown to the right of the layers dropdown.
I think it uses a spline effect:

That doesn't fix it. Why is it changing stuff other than just "Adding Time" when I press the add time button?

I still think you are using splines somewhere in your show.
Why don't you upload your show to this gallery?

OK, you were right. I apologize. I was on the wrong layer. Can you please explain why "adding time", even while on a different layer, changes the camera angle?

That's what splines do. Take a look at the spline pictures in the user guide and you will understand what's happening:
