Is it possible to import in BluffTitler an exact geometric form composed of curves, designed in Photoshop, in order to use this form as a path for a text layer in BluffTitler ?
I tried a Photoshop output as a bmp (black on white). Then, I converted this bmp with potrace in an EPS file. That's all right. But in BluffTitler I can't "attach text to active layer" ; this command is not active.
It seems that only Bixelangelo EPS files can be used as path for text layers in BluffTitler. But my mouse is significantly less accurate than Photoshop !
So, how to create path in BluffTitler with exact geometric curves ?
Tank you.

On the control panel has a list of a typical arrangement of the text. In addition there is an effect textonpath_path.fx, with which you can set the trajectory of the text.

This is solved in version 11.

In version 11 the sketch layer also accepts bitmaps (like PNG and BMP files) so we no longer have to mess around with EPS files.

This bitmap is traced and you can attach text layers to it.

We are trying to launch version 11 before the end of this month (February)

walgu, the textonpath effects are no longer generated by the latest versions of Bixelangelo. The system has been replaced by attaching text layers to sketch layers.

Can you precise.
Thanks in advance.

The effect was in the project Monster.bt. I have 230 effects and I do not have time to study all the effects.

Vincent, it's simple: every file dialog that used to accept only EPS files, now also accepts bitmaps files. And when you choose a bitmap, like a PNG for example, it is automatically traced and converted into a vector.

Walgu, yes, the monster show uses the old method.

I think it's easier to attach the text layer to a sketch layer.
