NextPreviousHomeColour settings over 255?

I thought that the 3 colour setting boxes were supposed to be the RGB values. But I find that numbers greater than 255 can be entered, giving different colours to 255. Even extremely large numbers like 1234.

Isn't that great!

I regularly use RGB values higher than 255 to make my scenes extra bright.

Is there an explanation of this feature anywhere that explains what happens if you enter values greater than 255?

Because, like Terry, I thought the settings were the RGB and that values above 255 would not be recognised.

This has everything to do with lighting. For example when you lower the light intensity (with the LIGHT INTENSITY property of the light layer), the objects look darker. You can compensate this by using RGB values higher than 255.
