the very old time perceiving a disadvantage on the domain of the layers of objects in the project, but the layers palette could be external, outside the timeline, and would have a total view of the layers, would be much faster and would have a total design domain, Coordinates and perhaps also.
and also add in a layer of preferences settings of keyboard shortcuts.
