Can someone tell me how to ensure that the two BT windows always get displayed at positions of my choosing please? At present the seem to appear at the places when last closed.
Is it also possible to start up with the media window at a resolution of my choice also please? It comes up at 640 x 480 but I would like a larger window.

Yes, the application remembers the size and the position of the 3D render window and the 2D tool window.
Maybe the following settings will always open the render window in your favorite resolution:
-delete all shows from the MEDIA > SHOWS > STARTUP folder
-place a single show in this folder that uses your favorite resolution
-unmark the OPEN BLUFFTITLER IN THE SAME RESOLUTION AS USED WHEN CLOSED option in the SETTINGS > GENERAL OPTIONS dialog

Thanks for that fast reply Michiel.
I think maybe I'll leave the Startup folder as it is, because that 'random show' is a feature I really like at this novice stage!
And tapping [Ctrl + r] h h h Enter quickly gets me to my choice of HD 1920 x 1080, 50%, so it's no hardship.
Actually, having seen your custom resolution of 800 x 450 in the 3D Sphere, I'm considering changing to that. Presumably you do that to keep CPU resources lower?
BTW, is the random choice of show on startup truly random
(with possible repetition), or something else?
