NextPreviousHomeCannot get the text color palette to appear...

I have tried numerous times pressing the f3 keys to make the color palette appear to color the text letters only. I make sure that the word color is in the field under the all layers check box ane the all keys check box and yet nothing. I have managed to get the "background" color palette to appear but where or where is the color palette chart for the letters alone. I can move the sliders back and forth to create some color but I would love to have the palette. Can you help step by step thank you so much. Claudia

I'm puzzled here.

Steps are as simple as:
1) select the COLOUR property of a text layer
2) press F3

This should work for any colour property of any layer type, including:
-LIGHT COLOUR of the light layer
-1ST COLOUR of the plasma layer
-1ST COLOUR of the particle layer
-COLOUR of the model layer
-COLOUR of the sketch layer

Are other function keys working? Like F1 for the user guide? Maybe your keyboard has a special key that you have to press before the functions keys work.

Or maybe the colour dialog is displayed on your invisible disconnected 2nd monitor?

Thanks for asking about, F1 it doesn't work either. I have Windows 7 and a Microsoft wireless keyboard that works with everything else. Any idea what I should do next to solve this problem. This is awful.
Thanks Michiel - Claudia

Maybe re-installing the keyboard driver solves the problem.

Okay, yeah. It certainly seems to be a keyboard problem.
Thanks Michiel!
