I was contacted by CNN today and asked if they could use one of my Bluff Titler animations in a story that aired this evening on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.

So they asked you to use an animation you had already done? How did they find your animation? Do you have tips for other designers how they can make their work be found by companies like CNN?

Thanks Michiel. The animation was already done. After the EMP issue was brought up in the presidential debate, CNN must have done a google search for EMP videos and found mine. I created them in Bluff for fun and because I support the effort to design better electronic protections into our grid.

So CNN sent you an e-mail, you gave permission and the very same day you watched your own animation on national television?
