The "bring active layer backwards/forwards" doesn't work for all layers, so I'd like to see a way arrange all layers up or down in the list.
I like this idea.

When using lots of layers, you can use the container layer to group related layers together.
You can give a container a name by choosing LAYER > ACTIVE LAYER PROPERTIES.
And when making the container invisible (with the VISIBLE checkbox at the right side of the tool window) all attached layers are also made invisible.

Very useful info. That will help me organise my shows better.
What is the LINK for? on LAYER > ACTIVE LAYER PROPERTIES

Yeah that's nice, but it doesn't address my request. Making something invisible is only in the rendered view, I'm talking about seeing them in the layer list - currently the only way to get all layers grouped together is to edit the BT file in a text editor (Btw, its a god send that the file format is in text, please never change that, it makes the program a lot more powerful)
