Anybody has any experience with getting avi's with transparency into Vegas Movie Studio 11?

Should be relatively straight forward.
Export your Bluff Titler movie as Uncompressed avi with Transparency.
Import into Vegas, (I use Vegas Pro 10 but expect it is the same for your version)
Right click on the movie in the timeline and select PROPERTIES.
On the media tab select Alpha Channel, then select
Straight (Unmatted) Click OK.

Heh, I read the hint here which says one should pick "premultiplied (dirty)" and that didn't work.

However what you write is exactly the same in version 11, and it appears to work fine, so thanks :)

Thanks, pool. That thread has been around for a long time and I used it a couple of years ago Vegas and it worked. But I can't get it to work now. I also tried "premultiplied (dirty)" and it didn't work either. I don't believe I had a problem when I was using Liquid 7.

Have you tried exporting a different, maybe a more simple movie with alpha, and giving that a go, if not just add a bit of text to a black background and export that with transparency, load into Vegas and add the straight unmatted. property.
If that doesn't work you could send me a frame or two of the movie and I will try it on my system,
