I'm just getting started with Bluff Titler, so please forgive me if I've overlooked something very simple.
I just added a new layer to a show, and it is Layer04 out of 21, but it is behind some other layers and I need it to be in front.
So I want to move it in front of the other layers (5 up to 21), and I saw the "Bring Active Layer Forward" option in the menu and thought that it would do what I need.
Unfortunately, that menu option is grayed out and not available, even though I have Layer04 selected as the active layer.
Is there something I need to do to activate that menu choice?
Or, is there another way to do what I need?
In case it is relevant, I am trying to add a text layer to a modified version of the following show
outerspace-software.com...
but the text layer keeps getting placed behind the containers and I can't figure out a way to get it in front of the containers.

Yes, thanks.
I already almost had it, but your comments in that article clarified a couple of things.
I wasn't thinking of the 3D concept correctly - I was really imagining 2d with perspective. Once I switched my thinking, I was able to get the result I intended.
Thanks again for your help.

Got it working exactly how I need now. Many thanks.

Great!
Hopefully the coming multiple viewports feature can help positioning the layers in 3D space:
