In the Tool Window, ( in what I believe is called the Physics Box)we are given various options which include Bezier Spline and Overhauser Spline. I assume that where a lot of keyframes might cause movement to be a little jerky, the Spline options smooth things out.

There must be certain circumstances where it is preferable to use one Spline rather than the other. And I would be grateful for advice accordingly (but not too technical, please)

Trying out the different Physics Box options has a lot of value to get the right look and feel for your show. Especially when synchronizing animation to audio, sometimes what "should" work best is not as effective as another option.

In most of my projects, I test Constant Speed, Accelerate, Decelerate, Accelerate and Decelerate, Bezier Spline, and Overhauser Spline to see what gives me the best effect. The speed of the animation and how much change there is between keyframes also affects which option in the Physics Box is my final choice.

Damper, Bouncer, Pumping, and Pingpong are fun and give a lot of motion to a show. These work well for occasional special effects.

Thank you , michiel and dvsprite, for your help. These are obviously examples where one needs to experiment
