Ilja, songbaojin and michiel like this!
hello this is my first time joining this community and giving this software a try. I am in a band and I'm using this software to make "plantillas sonideras" for my group logo. I have watched a couple of tutorials on how to make them, but my current issue is that I'm unable to locate the "EPS layer" to import my logo. I've instead imported it using the Traced image layer. I believe this is why my container layer is not rotating on its own axis. I have provided a video link to how i animated my logo. I had to animate each individual layer for the logo as a whole could spin on its own axis. please let me know what i need to do in order to achieve this without animating each individual layer thank you!!!1
Sketch and Eps open the same thing.
Import your eps logo by clicking the sketch icon.
Either by itself or into a container.

What was once called the EPS layer is now called the vector layer. This opens the door for supporting other vector formats like SVG:

The sketch layer also accepts EPS files, but renders them as outlines. This offers very different effects:

Thank you for this information!! 🙏🏾 fortunately, i realized that when moving the position of a layer within the container, and THEN rotating the container, is why my logo was far from the pivot point 😭 so now instead of moving the logo from the SKETCH layer, i am now moving it from the container, sorry for not realizing this 🙏🏾

Instead of moving the layers in the container layer, you can also use the PIVOT POINT prop of the container layer.
Press <F2> to visualize the pivot point.

Easy tip: when attaching something to a container I like to make sure it's position, and rotation, is set on 0 for all 3 sliders for each. This will put it right in the center of the container. Then you can move it and rotate the container without it going all out of whack. If putting more than one thing in the container you can move them to line them up, just keep them close together to center if planning to move and rotate.
