I see that over the years there has been the odd request for a specific keyboard shortcut, such as using the left/right arrows to move the cursor one frame along the timeline, or the spacebar to start/pause playback.

May I request a full set of keyboard shortcuts such as most video editors use? These may or may not be customisable, but one thing BluffTitler lacks are keyboard shortcuts.

Thank you.

Yes!

One remark, realize that many keys, including the spacebar and the arrow keys have special meaning when a textbox has the input focus (entering spaces, moving the cursor). And the textbox is the most important GUI element in a video titler. That's why it is placed in the top left of the tool window, <F4> is used to play/stop the show and buttons are used to move the keys.

Thanks Michiel, I see no problem with that. I use Magix Vegas Pro, which uses many keyboard shortcuts (more than I can remember!) for editing my videos. However, when various dialogs are open the keys assume different functions.

It means that you have to click in the render window to remove the input focus from the textbox every time you want to press the spacebar to start playing the show. This is not the case with <F4>.
