If anyone is like me, an occasional User and thus still finding my way around, you may be interested in an English beginning tutorial that I have just found on Youtube.

youtube.com...

Just noticed this was posted in May, shame, personally I just hope there will be more.

Great that some People want to share their knowledge of BT

I made over 700 tutorial videos for BluffTitler,
but unfortunately they are in Italian.

Those Outerspace ones were last updated Feb 2018 and have found it surprising there seemed to be a lack of english tutorials.

When working I always had an administration type job, so photo and video editing (with the help of youtube videos), including using Bluff Titler has been self learning in retirement.

Shame those 700 were not in english. Perhaps there is an AiBot out there that could convert?

Maybe you can watch them with YouTube subtitles?
In the next few years, YouTube is expected to introduce audio conversion with AI

Tips (Things I did when first starting)

Read the owner's manual. Everything the program does is explained in it: outerspace-software.com...

Open a show that it comes with. Use the dropdown box to see all the layers (everything in the show) Look for objects that have more than one keyframe. Then figure out why it has them by looking for any changes in the slider bars for effects, movement, color changes, etc

Start with a blank show. Add a plain white picture. Then experiment by adding every effect to it one at a time, so you can figure out what each effect does.

Get click happy and click on everything you can in the program/menu bar.

If you have a problem make use of the search bar on this website. It's highly likely that all questions have been asked before. If you can't find any info on a question/problem. Ask in a post and someone will have an answer.

Thought I did post a comment. I have found 'Franco Aversa' tutorials on Youtube and experimented with auto translate. Will have a look at them leter.

I regret to say that reading the Manual is not really my scene. I like getting a Manual for any of my programs, but must admit that I rarely look through. For me, I seem to pick up my tips from watching youtube tutorials.

Yes, his videos are great.

Go to his playlist: youtube.com...

Turn captions on. "CC" button
Click settings *
Click on where it says "Subtitles/CC1 Italian (Auto generated)
Click on "auto translation" change to English.

Learning by doïng is my style. I see a video and I want to try something similar.

I sometimes used the "User guide", Bixpacks and the lessons that go with the app.
And there is also the community, a lot of knowledge and people eager to help.

But there is a Dutch (sorry it's a Belgian) manual. I think it's old but t has a very good index and structure.

Xenofex2 a piece of advice, read the instructions you find on the Community and the User guide,
they are very important and also have a precise and easily chronology
consultable compared to videos on YouTube.
