Ger it's not easy, but you can, maybe this helps:

When you trace a text (by hand) with Bixelangelo you can edit a bitmap of a text you saved.
You have to load the Bitmap with <File> <Load background picture...>.

Nb When you use automatic tracing you create the outlines of the text.

Thanks for your answer Flip. I had already tried this but was not completely satisfied. Didn't think it was "good" enough. Thanks again.

Maybe when you tell me(us) what you're trying to do or create maybe there's a workaround.
I've shared more problems on the community and almost always there was a solution...maybe not the best. But good enough.

Filip I would like to use text that I create with Vegas Pro 19 and save as PNG. From this PNG I want to make an EPS that I then use in Blufftitler.

And what is it that you want to do with that text. And can't you make the same text in BluffTitler.
Can you add this picture? as a jpg max 1024 pixels?

Filip What I'd like to do is change for example the text of the new BixPacks 44 like in sketch 4. What I've already done is converting a Photo PNG to an EPS with Bixelangelo and it works fine.

I like to get focus on the problem and A picture is worth a thousand words. So do you want to chegen the text and get the same results .......something what I did with BixPack 44 | Stage Lights, template 15_Sketch5_3D in this video:
outerspace-software.com....

In his template you see you can have the same effect with a text saved as an .png file (See the file I used in my video, this is a jpg, so you have to delete the blue color and save it as a png)

How to do this?:
outerspace-software.com...

Bitmap tracer
Next to EPS files, the sketch layer also accepts bitmaps, like PNG, BMP, TGA and GIF files. The picture is automatically traced and turned into a vector.

You can trace another picture by choosing MEDIA > Change traced picture....
