NextPreviousHomeCan't import EPS from illustrator

happy3d | 4 years ago | 12 comments | 1.3K views

I created a "web" blank document in illustrator. Then draw a rectangle solid filled with no border. I exported to eps using illustrator 8 eps, preview none, and every box unchecked. Still, when I try to create an EPS layer with this file I get Blufftitler can't handle...

What am I doing wrong?

Is there another way to import vector graphics into blufftitler?

I have the same problem when exporting an EPS file from Serif Affinity Designer.

for EPS you have to use Bixelangelo or vectorize with Potrace

I`m using VectorMagic app for EPS

Thank you Franco. I have Bixelangelo and use Potrace, I was just making a comment that Serif Affinity Designer EPS files are not useable (at the moment) in Blufftitler.

Affinity Designer:
1) Esporta il grafico in eps
2) Set impostazioni: EPS (per esportazione)
3) Esportazione
4) Aprire il file esp con Blocco note
5) sostituire:
m con moveto
c con curveto
6) Salvare e aprire in BluffTitle
Processo noioso ma funziona meglio usare Bixelangelo oltra ad essere più veloce è anche più completo

Ciao Nonnogio, io ho provato da Affinity Designer ma non funziona.

Che impostazioni dai oltre ovviamente a EPS ?

Franco Aversa, 4 years ago

L'unica impostazione la do in fase di esportazione:
Set impostazioni: EPS (per esportazione)
E quindi esportare

Se credi sia necessario posto qui un file prima e dopo la modifica

Thank you Pioneer for the report.

We've taken a close look at the EPS files generated by Affinity Designer and found out that they are using a syntactically correct, but uncommon feature. The fix was easy, so the next releases of BluffTitler and Bixelangelo will be able to import EPS files generated by Affinity Designer!
