Is there a way to select several keys from one text layer and
paste them into another text layer? Then, can I move those keys, as an group, to a new starting time?
The answer is no. Thank you for your feature requests!
Note that you can clone a layer by pressing the CLONE ACTIVE LAYER button.
And you can move multiple keys by pressing the INSERT TIME and REMOVE TIME buttons:

Thanks, Michiel.
This brings up another question: It looks like insert/remove time uses increments of 0.1 sec. -- is there any options for changing that increment size? Likewise, the move right/left seems to be in increments of 0.001 sec. -- can that be changed? I can understand these choices, but they just don't happen to be convenient for what I'm doing.
As for the possibility of a feature change: maybe the standard click for adding several keys for movement and click for adding all keys in-between keys?
Again, thanks for the help.

How about increasing this amount of time to 0.1 sec when you hold down the SHIFT key?

Michiel, Are you asking why I don't do this? --or-- Do I think that this would be a good enhancement?
If the first case, nothing happens when I try the SHIFT.
If the second, yes -- but a better option would be to be able to select the default increment.
(Boy, isn't it wonderful to have people thinking up new things for you to do with all your spare time? My wife handles all that for me!)

Dick, my comment was a suggestion for a new feature that could be implemented in a future version.
Are you aware that you can move a key by clicking and dragging it?

Actually I was not aware of the clicking and dragging feature; that will help quite a bit.
Your suggestion for a new feature would be nice -- when you get the time ;)
