Hi. When rendering a show, are only the visible layers rendered? I have a show where I'd like to keep everything in "one place" and just check or uncheck the Visible box to produce different videos. But by doing this, I wonder if BT renders the whole enchilada and flags the hidden layers at run time.
Thx, John
The whole enchilada is loaded into memory, but only the visible layers are rendered. So it eats memory, but as long as you do not run out of memory it will not affect performance in any way.

BTW, I regularly use the visible checkbox to find out which layer does what (in combination with F2)
In version 8 you can render only the active layer by pressing <CTRL><SHIFT>. This is the inverse behaviour of temporarily flagging the invisible checkbox.
