Is it possible to do the Outerspace slidehow locally on my computer?
The reason I ask is that I have a concern for privacy/security of family/business
photos/material that I'd include in the show.
Thank you
According to this NO:
outerspace-software.com...
But I never needed it so I just tried it doesn't upload the photo's it just adds your local directory with DIR: command as location of the images.
When you need it somewhere else, make a video file or just copy the whole photo directory onto the portable device open de show and when the show cannot find the directory just point to it and it works.

Thanks komies...That was 4 years old!
My greatest concern is privacy/security
of the media that use to work with the
slideshow.......
It still would be nice to have part of the BT
package.....

There is no privacy/security concern.
The photo are not uploaded just the file path is used.
Try it yourself with non sensitive photo's in a folder and you will see.

Still, using non-sensitive material I still don't know what is going on in the background. Could be
grabbing my stuff! LOL
If it were local I'd feel much more secure.
Of course I doubt, hope, that Outerspace wouldn't
want to have copies of my stuff anyways.

Komies is right, the path your provide is only used as a text to generate the show file. No pictures are uploaded to the server.
An easy way to test this is to provide a path to an non-existing file. This will not display an error message until you try to play the generated show. Answer YES in the dialog box to search for the missing file and it will use the files in that folder.
